I have been doing daycare since 2010 and it is rewarding. I am happy to see the kids each morning. We read books daily; games and activities are age appropriate for a child to learn skills that will help them be successful academically and socially for kindergarten. Writing ABC's usually starts before 3 years old, upper & lower case & numbers can be written before age 5. Sounding out letters is normally practiced. Some children can begin reading sight words before going to school. Two toy rooms & large backyard - one cat.
